In solar thermal and domestic hot water production, EDF Energies Nouvelles has taken part in a programme to install 50,000 solar water-heaters in the French overseas departments and territories. |

In solar photovoltaic energy, EDF Energies Nouvelles has been distributing photovoltaic equipment together with its partners for businesses and individuals in the French Antilles since 2003. Since the programme was launched, EDF Energies Nouvelles has participated in the installation of close to 6.17 MWp.
To strengthen its presence in solar electricity generation at solar farms, the Group established a shareholding in several companies, namely Fotosolar in Spain, RETD in Greece and Photon Power Technologies in France.
