RESPONSE WITH 4 PROJECTS IN FRANCE

• On 11 January 2012, EDF EN has, on behalf of a consortium consisting of strategic partners, submitted four projects in response to the French offshore wind energy call for tenders (St Nazaire, St Brieuc, Courseulles-sur-Mer and Fécamp sites). These projects go hand in hand with a highly ambitious industrial plan to manufacture the wind turbine designed by Alstom in France that will create around 7,500 jobs. EDF Energies Nouvelles leads the consortium including DONG Energy, Nass&Wind Offshore, wpd Offshore, and Alstom.

TEESIDE PROJECT IN UNITED KINGDOM

• EDF Energy Renewables, a 50% subsidiary of EDF EN and EDF Energy, has launched the construction of Teesside offshore wind project (62 MW) at the North East of England.
  

C-POWER PROJECT IN BELGIUM

• EDF Energies Nouvelles participates in the C-Power Consortium concerning the Thorntonbank offshore project with its 300MW installed capacity at a distance from Belgium coastlines. A first phase of 30MW began operating in 2009. A second phase of 295MW began construction in 2010.
