** MWp gross developed, built and sold
A strong growth sector.
Solar energy is a reliable solution, low carbon and more and more competitive. Solar energy development is fast thanks to technologies improvements. Thus, world capacity has been multiplied by 61 from 2004 (3,7 GW) to 2015 (227 GW) and the photovoltaic modules prices has decreased by about 80% since 2010.

Roof-mounted solar photovoltaic and self-consumption offers for residential customers
It gives the opportunity to our customers to use energy generated by their own solar panels and allows to store part of it for use when they need it. The offer enables customers, through a range of simple tools, to maximize its self-consumption rate. The installation is sized according to actual needs. They can monitor online in real time their energy consumption, using their tablet or smartphone. They can control energy expenses and, if desired, store the excess electricity produced by the battery.
In the US, EDF EN acquired Global Resource Options Inc. (doing business as “groSolar”), a player specialised in the development, sale and installation of solar photovoltaic plants for utilities, corporations, and industrial operators.
An expertise in photovoltaic modules manufacturing
Subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, Photowatt is a pioneer in the solar industry for over 35 years. The company designs and produces photovoltaic modules based on crystalline silicon technology, for different types of application, from residential rooftop equipment to solar power plant.
